Last weekend, I finally got round to completing the mega-classic hiking trail of the Dark Peak: The Edale Skyline.

It had been on my mind for a long time, years in fact, but I had never quite felt ready for it and there had always been something else to distract me (logging days towards qualifications for example).

It was well worth the wait.

The trail is one of the best I’ve ever done so close to home, and I had every kind of weather imaginable all in the same day. As always, I put together a short video, mostly of photographs I took, and also a short clip of a hailstorm. Superb.
