This month has been a particularly active one due to the Easter break. Unusually for me, I managed to get essentially the entire holiday off (in terms of the school break, even though I’m not a teacher) and focused totally on preparing for future hiking qualifications.

I now have a really exciting first Quality Lowland Day planned and a new focus for my outdoor energies. I can’t say much on them all right now, but the main thing is that the Quality Days are about to start which means one step closer to my overall goal of being a Lowland, Hill and Moorland and Winter Mountain Leader.

The West Yorkshire Heritage Trail has also been completely walked, which steel feels a bit unreal but proves to me that these projects can be completed with enough dedication. I am finishing writing up each section and then will be able to share wider.
