Apart from some of the wettest weather I’ve ever walked in, this Stoodley Pike/Mytholmroyd circular is a superb route!

A hike up to the moor top to Dick’s Lane leads to the Pennine Way on Stoodley’s summit. A well marked trail guides you north to Hebden Bridge, one of the great industrial towns of the country. It’s now re-invented itself as an unparalleled centre for independent shops, heritage and craft.
